In the energy sector, many new changes can occur every single minute. An energy company needs to be on their toes. Team 9's Seniment Data Analyzer was just that, finding information between the US and Canada, the US's largest energy ally. Scraping the web and gathering information, a user could easily enter a keyword and our code can spit out a links for more information. Keeping everyone informed and ready.
Techpoint had their first every Xtern Challenge hackathon in 2025 with MISO being the company they hosted at. My team (who won 3rd) was tasked with making SOMETHING related with finding new intel in the energy sector. I worked with the webscraping tool and using the epi.gov API.
